Selective laser melting on a powder bed used by FusiA Groupe<\/a> is a suitable additive manufacturing process for aerospace applications, as it reduces the weight of parts and has demonstrated benefits for specific lightweight alloys. However, the process leaves unusable powder residues that could be harmful to occupational health and safety.<\/p>\n

The R3D3 project, which brings together FusiA Groupe and Kilncore<\/a>, is part of a sustainable aerospace vector that seeks to reduce and reuse as much of this waste as possible.
