Using polymer melt avoids solvent elimination and toxicity, but the process is more difficult. Thus, a versatile lab-scale\u202f<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">hot melt<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">\u202f<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">spinneret<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">\u202fwith the ability to pour pellets inside continuously to expand our knowledge of the CS method and investigating different extrusion geometries such as <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW86705170 BCX0\">nozzlefree<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\"> is developed. Among the controllable parameters are, the spinneret heating temperature (up to 300\u00b0C), its two interchangeable 3D printer nozzles. An\u202f<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">Arduino<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">\u202fcode is used to stabilize the temperature. The system performance is investigated with\u202f<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-CA\" xml:lang=\"EN-CA\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">polypropylene<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-CA\" xml:lang=\"EN-CA\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">\u202fand\u202f<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">polylactide<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW86705170 BCX0\">.
