Computer-aided design and 3D printing technologies are cost-effective tools to <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">develop<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\"> controlled motion systems.<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">In this work, a Dynamic Phantom Test System was designed, prototyped, and tested to emulate the impact of Cardiac and Respiratory Motion on the coronary artery. A stenotic coronary artery phantom was developed in three different versions: PVA-C, 3D printed material (<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">TangoPlus<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">) and composite material (<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">TangoPlus<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\"> &amp; <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">VeroWhite<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">). A hemodynamic circuit <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">representing<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\"> the circulatory system was developed and attached to the phantom and a pulsatile pump. Finally, a cam mechanism was incorporated to generate the movement of the coronary artery in the superior-inferior direction, with the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">capacity<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\"> to exchange movement profiles such as heartbeat, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\">respiration<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW11469833 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"only-so-big\"> and their combination. The results showed an impact on the pressure curve.
