This major event brought together international players in the field of additive manufacturing (AM).<\/p>\n<p>Several representatives from Quebec\u2019s ecosystem spoke to showcase local expertise:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Luc Pouliot (<a href=\"https:\/\/polycontrols.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Polycontrols<\/a>) opened the plenary session with a presentation on Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing (CSAM) technology.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ahmad Ibrahim (<a href=\"https:\/\/gcttg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Groupe CTT<\/a>) presented applications of AM on textiles, particularly in the biomedical sector.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ana Tanase and Julie B\u00e9jean, students from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.laventurelab.com\/groupe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prof. Audrey Laventure\u2019s group<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.umontreal.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al<\/a>), presented their research during the poster session.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Alexandre Bois-Brochu (<a href=\"https:\/\/cmqtr.qc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centre de m\u00e9tallurgie du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a>) led a technical session on DED processes and presented projects involving Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF), including work on Monel 400 and Zirconium 705C alloys.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Denis Akzam (Ariadne Geometry Inc.) contributed to a plenary on 3D print file cybersecurity, also addressing standardization and procedural modeling challenges.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Marie-Pierre Ippersiel, President and CEO of PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec, led a strategic plenary bringing together researchers and industry leaders to discuss key themes: additive manufacturing standardization, procedural modeling, and cybersecurity of 3D printing data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The forum highlighted international collaboration between ecosystems from France, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the UK, and Quebec \u2013 all united around innovation, science, and industry.<\/p>\n<p>CQFA and PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec extend their sincere thanks to France Additive for their warm welcome and outstanding organization of this high-impact
