Led by Daniel Therriault, Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al, the Chair in Additive Manufacturing of Organic Matrix Composites (FACMO) is developing new manufacturing processes for composite material parts intended for the aerospace sector. The initiative brings together six faculty members from Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al, most of whom are affiliated with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lm2poly.com\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laboratoire de m\u00e9canique multi-\u00e9chelles (LM<sup>2<\/sup>)<\/a>. In addition to Safran, the project is financially supported by industrial partner <a href=\"https:\/\/dyzedesign.com\/?srsltid=AfmBOori8z0PNTkCgYlPIlWuYeAbnko-mVcr0NbAruR2O-h7mo-X-1z9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dyze Design<\/a>, as well as by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca\/index_fra.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Conseil de recherche en sciences naturelles et en g\u00e9nie (CRSNG)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prima.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PRIMA Qu\u00e9bec<\/a>, for a total of approximately $5.1 million over five years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"link-btn-style btn-yellow\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polymtl.ca\/carrefour-actualite\/nouvelles\/aviation-durable-polytechnique-montreal-et-safran-renouvellent-leur-partenariat-strategique\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read the article<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fifteen years after signing their first framework cooperation agreement, Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al and Safran are renewing their strategic partnership.
