From Metals to Polymers: Additive Manufacturing at the Heart of the CMQ Symposium
From medical prosthetics to aircraft parts, from industrial molds to satellites — polymers and metals are at the heart of our everyday lives.
And thanks to additive manufacturing, whether polymer-based or metal-based, we can now design parts that are lighter, higher-performing, and perfectly tailored to every need.
On October 14 and 15 in Trois-Rivières, the Metals and Polymers Symposium brought together enthusiasts in science, engineering, and innovation to exchange on the latest advances in advanced materials and additive manufacturing.
The CQFA – Carrefour québécois de la fabrication additive was at the center of this dynamic event, alongside COALIA, the Centre de métallurgie du Québec, the Centre québécois de recherche et de développement de l’aluminium (CQRDA), PRIMA Québec – Pôle de recherche et d’innovation en matériaux avancés du Québec, CRITM, AFC and the American Foundry Society.
Two days of discussions, discoveries, and a shared vision: pushing the boundaries of manufacturing in Québec.
