Webinar: Discover RI3D-FRQNT, The Regroupement innovant pour l’impression d’immeubles durables

The Carrefour québécois de la fabrication additive (CQFA), in collaboration with the RI3D‑FRQNT innovation group for sustainable building printing, is organizing a webinar on April 24, 2024, to introduce a new project that will create the first 3D-printed modular house in Quebec.

The speakers will include David Laliberté and Nicholas Joyal, who will discuss the origins of the project and present the various stages that make up the three-year research program:

– Component 1: Designing a methodology that can print, transport and assemble a modular building.

– Component 2: Reducing the environmental impact of 3D building printing by creating materials with low ecological footprints while improving the energy performance associated with this type of building.
